Young princess claims throne

So yesterday, Eric had the entire day off, so we took advantage of that and decided to get some errands done, and then we did some shopping. I initially was going to shop for a new convertible car seat that we are going to be needing here in the next month or so, but we couldn't agree on which we liked best. For that much money, It better be the right one.
We found ourselves in the bouncers and highchair section, and realized that this was something we needed as well.  We looked at everything from the basic cheap ones, to the flashier high priced ones. This one it's self was a little pricier, but it is a 4 in 1 seating system, it's the Graco Blossom. It can be used as a highchair, an infant feeding booster, a toddler booster, and a youth chair. Not to mention that it rolls. which is sooo nice! and it has 6 height adjustments. I love this chair! I know we will get our money's worth on this investment!

Robbery and attempted murder!

So I just found out today, that one of Eric's employees was robbed and shot earlier this week, while in his neighborhood. Apparently a group of men approached him and demanded that he give them all of his money. When he refused, they pulled a gun and shot him in the abdomen. Thankfully no vital organs were injured, and he should make a full recovery. But SCARY!! Hello! my husband sometimes drives and picks him up in that neighborhood! I didn't like Jacksonville before, and now that it's hitting way closer to home, I don't like it at all! Mommy! I want to move back home! haha...........no seriously. I do.
Anyway, I thank the Lord everyday for our safety, and hope and prey that he gets well soon.

Candid Moments!

We got bored today, and decided to take some pictures!! So here are a couple.

What the fire?!

So i have been having trouble lately with Loee taking naps, and today she was just fighting it with everything she had. Well, I finally just put her down on my bed and let her watch me while i folded laundry. It must have been pretty boring because i watched as her eyelids got really heavy, and she gave in and fell asleep.
So i continued to fold the laundry, and im not joking. 10 min after she shut her eyes, the fire alarm went off! ahhhh! i wanted to pull my hair out! does that alarm have any idea what i was planning to do with that time? i has soo much stuff that i needed to do, and that was just one more set back in my day!
20 min later when the fire department showed up and shut it off, we were back to square one. Oh well, I guess these things happen to keep me on my toes! But c'mon! the water thing and now this? Its too much!

New born Loee pics

Ok. Here are a few more pic's of Londyn when she was born. There is one where the nurses took a picture of her next to a 10 lbs baby, and there is a pic of my foot before she was born. I know it is disturbing, but i want you all to see how serious it was. (i couldn't even wear flip flops)

Loee sitting all by herself!!

I meant to post these pictures last week. But here are some recent pictures of Loee sitting all by herself! So exciting as a Mommy, to see all the new things she is doing on a daily basis! We love you Londyn!

No Water!

Today I woke up to Londyn crying in her crib. So I got out of bed, went and got her and took her in my room to change her diaper, where i left her with Eric so i could make her a bottle. Well, when i got to the sink and turned the faucet on ........NO WATER!!!! Oh my goodness! I thought I was going to have a panic attack. How was I supposed to make a bottle with no water?! So I was looking all around for the billing statement for the utility company. I was positive that we had paid the water bill, so I was really confused as to why the water had been shut off.
Eric had some bottled water that he brought in, which i was extremely grateful for! So I was able to feed Loee and get her happy.
Then over the next several hours I searched for the phone number to the utility co. and I called my landlord, and explained what was going on. So when I was in the kitchen making another bottle for Loee, there was a loud banging and bubbling noise coming from the pipes. So just to try my luck i walked over to the sink and flipped up the handle ........WATER!!!! I was so relieved! I could finally use the bathroom!!
I don't think that it had anything to do with the utilities, but there was deff. something wrong with the pipes. not sure what, but something. In the end im grateful for water!!
